Student Bus
1. Agreement
By using Student Bus or studentbus.in, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description
Student Bus provides institute bus tracking, trip notifications, and related tools for schools, colleges, drivers, parents, and students in India. The service shows live institute bus location during active trips.
We track the institute bus — not the person. Location is shared from the driver's device during an active trip only. We do not provide covert personal tracking.
We do not guarantee that a specific child is on the bus unless explicitly stated by a future feature.
3. Eligibility
- Admins and parents must be at least 18 years old.
- Students may register with parent/guardian or school permission.
- Drivers are registered by institution admins.
4. Subscriptions & payments
- Free trial: 5 days per eligible user/device (one trial per device/email).
- Paid plans: ₹5/month or ₹50/year per bus subscription.
- Payments via Razorpay. Subscriptions renew until cancelled.
Refunds: contact support@studentbus.in within 7 days for accidental duplicate payments.
5. Institution responsibilities
Admins must be authorized to represent their school, ensure drivers use the app for legitimate transport, and inform parents about bus tracking.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse location data, share credentials, bypass trial limits, or disrupt our systems. Violations may result in suspension.
7. Disclaimer & liability
Service is provided "as is". GPS and network delays may affect accuracy. We are not liable for missed buses or delays. Liability is limited to fees paid in the prior 3 months where permitted by law.
8. Termination
Delete your account via the app or Delete Account page. We may suspend access for violations.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
